What core values define SELEZIONE as a company, beyond design and fabrication? How are these values reflected in your daily decisions?
At SELEZIONE, our core values are integrity, precision, transparency, and long-term thinking. While design and fabrication are our mediums, what defines us is our obsession with detail and respect for relationships. Whether with clients, collaborators, or materials. These values guide everything we do, from the way we communicate timelines to how we handle delays or unexpected technical issues.

What makes your internal structure unique compared to other companies in this industry? How is your team organized to ensure quality at every level?
Our structure is lean, hands-on, and deeply collaborative. We intentionally avoid traditional silos; design, production, and project management are constantly in dialogue. Every team member is trained to see projects not just as tasks but as living systems. This interconnectedness allows us to spot issues before they surface and to uphold the same level of quality from concept to installation. We also keep close contact with our fabricators in Italy, which gives us exceptional control over outcomes.
What qualities do you look for when building your team or selecting collaborators? Is there a common mindset or work ethic you expect?
We look for people who have taste, discipline, and humility. Not just talent, but the ability to own a mistake, speak up early, and obsess over the right millimeter. Whether it’s a drafter or a metalworker, we’re drawn to collaborators who are calm under pressure, take pride in craftsmanship, and are driven by excellence—not by speed or shortcuts. There’s a shared mindset: if it’s not right, we’re not done.

We simplify the chaos of custom work. Whether we’re working with a high-profile designer or a first-time developer, we lead by bringing calm, structure, and practical insight to the process.
What part of your process clients rarely see – but is crucial to delivering perfection?
One of the most critical parts of our process happens behind the scenes: the constant coordination and alignment between all involved. Clients often don’t see the hours spent reviewing drawings, verifying material compatibility, and ensuring that every detail is clearly communicated across teams. We act as the connective tissue between architects, fabricators, logistics partners, and installers, making sure everyone is working with the same level of precision. That quiet orchestration is what allows everything to come together flawlessly on site.
